Gustav Scholda is a sound designer & audio programmer based in Vienna, Austria. During his Tonmeister studies at the Film University Babelsberg he used to work in audio post-production for motion pictures, but in 2013 he discovered Kyma and his real passion: Audio Programming.

Since 2015 he is contributing to the NeverEngine Labs / Cristian Vogel developing Kyma sounds and modules.

In 2017 he started to expand his programming skills learning C++ / JUCE. Porting his well-known spectral processing algorithms from Kyma to be used as VST/AU/AAX plugins led to the founding of GS DSP.

He has worked with various companies and artists like Amon Tobin, Ivo Ivanov (Glitchmachines), Richard Devine, Cristian Vogel, Alex Retsis (Qebo), Tonsturm, Twisted Tools, Jean-Edouard Miclot (JedSound), Richard Eigner (Ritornell), Malcolm Braff, Marinos Giannoukakis, …
